How to get to the fortune island in Batangas:
1.) You can do it by public transportation
You can take the bus from Manila to Nasugbu, Batangas. There are a lot of bus companies with direct route to Nasugbu. The travel time is around 4 hours and the fare will cost you around 168 pesos. The driver will drop you off in Jollibee Nasugbu. You can then ride a tricycle to Fortune Island Resort in Barangay Wawa and it will cost you 10 to 15 pesos per person. At the Fortune Island Resort you need to pay an entrance fee; the day trip will cost you 300 pesos while the overnight and camping fee is 400 pesos. You can then rent a boat going to the island, the travel time is an hour to an hour and a half. The day trip will cost you 3,000 pesos which can accommodate 5 to 10 people and 4,500 pesos which can accommodate 10 people. The overnight or camping trip will cost you 4,500 pesos and it can accommodate 5 to 10 people or you can go with 6,000 pesos which can accommodate 10 people.
2.) You can do it by private car
You can go through the Cavitex route. You need to head to the Governor’s Road and then you need to continue onto the Nasugbu-Ternate Highway until you reach Nasugbu. You will see Jollibee, and then you can make a right turn to C. Alvares Street. Keep on driving straight until you reach Apacible Blvd. onto which you can make a right turn. Keep on driving until you reach Fortune Island Resort. You can also go through the SLEX route. You need to exit Sta. Rosa, and then turn right. You can continue to Tagaytay and Sta. Rosa road. From Tagaytay, you can continue to Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway until you reach Palico. You can then make a right turn to Palico-Nasugbu Highway. At the end of the Palico-Nasugbu Highway, you can make a right turn. You can continue driving until you reach Nasugbu town proper. You can make a right turn to C. Alvares Street and you can continue driving. You need to turn right into Apacible Blvd. and then you can continue driving until you find Fortune Island Resort. As for your expenses, if you are a group of 4 and you have your own car, it will cost you around 350 pesos per person for the gas and the toll fee. It will cost another 300 pesos per person for the resort entrance. It will cost 625 pesos per person for the boat rental. The meals and the other things needed during the trip will cost around 500 pesos per person. There is also a fee for the mainland bathroom and it is 15 pesos per person.
